ACTH Stimulation
Order Instructions:
Special hormone test for diagnosis of Cushing's (hyperadrenocorticism) or Addison's (hypoadrenocorticism) diseases. A pre-sample is drawn usually in the morning hours on an empty stomach. A stimulant (ACTH analog) is injected. A post sample is drawn 1 hour later.
